Gocycle is assembled in the European Union to the highest standards. Our battery packs use the highest quality Panasonic lithium cells available on the market and are manufactured in Europe.
Gocycle including the battery and charger is CE certified and meets or exceeds applicable safety standards relating to EPAC EN 15714 standards. Our batteries and chargers are UN 38.8 tested and certified and are currently progressing through the latest UL battery and e-bike standards which are similar to existing EN European standards which the current Gocycle and batteries already conform to. Gocycle lithium batteries have been in production and on the market for more than a decade.
You can view full details of the best practices for battery charging in the Gocycle Owner’s Manual. We recommend charging your Gocycle after a ride and, once charged, unplugging the Gocycle from the charger and turning off the Gocycle to conserve battery power. It is NOT recommended to leave your Gocycle on charge for more than 24 hours.
The charging cost of the battery is equal to having a 100-125W light bulb on for 3 hours.
