Your Gocycle Model : Spare parts vary by model.
Serial Number: Each Gocycle has a unique serial number, which helps us identify the model and version.
Mileage from Gocycle Connect App: Mileage is key for identifying wear parts and service intervals.
Service Location: Since 2016, Movinnov has serviced nearly 1,000 Gocycle in France, Europe, and worldwide. We offer remote and local support in Nantes.
Safety First : Always check your bike’s safety components before riding. Stay visible, protect yourself, and follow traffic rules.
SERVICES
Gocycle Labor by Movinnov
Hourly rate : €120 incl. VAT (20%).
Example: €60 incl. VAT for 30 minutes of work.
Note : Any started 15-minute interval is billed in full. If multiple requests total under 15 minutes, the minimum charge is €30 incl. VAT.
Notes:
- Repairs are performed by Movinnov or an approved independent technician.
- Technicians are trained by Movinnov, and we supply genuine Gocycle parts (except brake pads, often provided by technicians).
- Safety-critical repairs require written approval and payment before work begins. You may opt out by signing a liability waiver.
- Service times vary by model (newer Gocycles are optimized for faster service).
- Complex repairs (e.g., fork disassembly, internal wiring) may require returning the bike to Gocycle at your expense (original packaging and logistics are the customer’s responsibility).
- Additional fees may apply for parts, shipping, or logistics.
- Technicians only work on clean bikes. Cleaning (billed separately) may be required.

NEW GOCYCLE DELIVERY SERVICE
Pre-Delivery Setup (30 min) :
- Inspect packaging for damage.
- Unbox and check for scratches.
- Install Gocycle/Movinnov accessories.
- Test battery and validate checks via the Gocycle app.
This is a paid, order-based service.
Upon Delivery : Charge the bike before use and read the Gocycle manual.
MAINTENANCE SERVICE
Annual maintenance (or every 1,000 km) is recommended by Gocycle to ensure safety, performance, and warranty compliance. With over 1,000 precision parts, DIY repairs are discouraged.
Why Maintain Your Gocycle ?
- Worn brake pads risk emergency braking failure and damage discs.
- Old brake fluid compromises hydraulic performance.
- Unchecked chain tension harms the Cleandrive, hub, and Shimano Nexus 3 system.
Maintenance Includes :
- Brake pad/disc inspection (replace pads every 2,000–3,500 km; discs every ~6,000 km).
- Gear cable tension check (GS/GX/G4 models, yearly).
- Chain tension check (yearly; replace every 3,000 km).
- Hydraulic brake bleed (yearly or every 1,000 km).
- Motor/battery/servo-motor sound check.
- Carbon/magnesium/aluminum component inspection.
- Wheel/fastener/latch checks (varies by model).
Service Options :
1. **On-Site (Home/Office):** Additional fees for parts and travel (limited cities).
2. **Partner Workshops:** Drop off your Gocycle.
Travel Fees: Calculated from Movinnov hubs (Paris, Nantes, Lyon, Marseille, Cannes) and include tolls, meals (100+ km trips), and lodging (long-distance).
Quotes: Provided after bike assessment. Transport/logistics costs are customer’s responsibility (unless covered under warranty).
COMMON PAID SERVICES (EXCLUDING PARTS/LABOR)
- Brake pad/disc replacement.
- Gear cable/chain adjustment/replacement.
- Hydraulic brake bleed.
- Motor/battery/servo-motor/Cleandrive replacement.
- Master cylinder replacement (requires bleed).
- Other accessible part modifications.
ACCESSORIES
Gocycle-approved accessories ensure safety and comfort. Movinnov also offers tested third-party options (e.g., baskets, trailers, rain covers).
BRAKES
Pads: Replace every ~1,000 km (usage-dependent). Worn pads damage discs and reduce braking.
Bleed Service: Essential for hydraulic brake performance.
- Post-2023 models: Use mineral brake fluid (pre-2023: DOT 4).
- DOT 4 drawbacks:** Hygroscopic, lower boiling point, requires annual bleeding.
- Service includes: Fluid check, pad replacement, bleed, cylinder test.
- Excludes: Pistons, master cylinders, discs, etc. (additional fees apply).
Note: Movinnov declines liability for overdue bleeds (critical for safety).
CLEANDRIVE
Service (30 min) :
- Sealed chaincase minimizes dirt/maintenance.
- Includes chain tension check (recommended before 2,500 km), gear cable adjustment/replacement (mechanical models), and Shimano Nexus 3 alignment.
- Note: Requires removing 12 screws (follow Gocycle’s procedure).
BATTERY
Dangerous Goods
- Sold exclusively by Gocycle (safety compliance).
- Estimated lifespan: 5 years (2-year warranty).
- Handle/store/transport/recycle responsibly.
WHEELS/TIRES
Follow Gocycle’s guidelines for rims and tires.
FRAME/STEM/HANDLEBAR
Folding mechanism is safety-critical. Check latches before each use. Consult Movinnov if unsure.
